Policies

Registration
All registrations are processed in the order in which they are received. This
includes “request to hold spots” from institutions (not individuals).
To avoid being closed out of an Academy, we strongly encourage you to pre-register
by mail or phone. Payment, for any held spaces, is due three weeks prior
to the Academy you wish to attend.

Cancellation and Refunds
Should you need to cancel out of a program, send us your WRITTEN request for a refund at least three weeks before the program begins. Emails are acceptable. Most refunds are subject to a non-refundable administrative fee of $25. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
There will be no refunds for “no shows,” those cancelled on opening day, or cancellations after the program begins.

Substitution
We understand that emergencies arrive for healthcare providers, so we do allow
a hospital or provider to send a substitute participant at the start of a program.
We do allow participants to make up a “missed day” at a subsequent Academy.
We reserve the right to cancel a program due to limited enrollment. While it is rarely necessary, we also reserve the right to substitute faculty.

Off-site Offerings
Any of our programs can be brought on location to your agency for a group
of 15 or more from your facility. However, most off-site programs require 40
participants to run and thus depend on surrounding institution participation.
